On March 3, a motorist from Biysk filmed a flood in Socialist Street. From these shots it is noticeable that the roadsides are covered with meters long snowdrifts.

The usual picture for any provincial street in Russia in early spring is that the snow has not been removed, but simply raked off the roadway. And in the spring it began to melt.

One of the road users chose an original, but very appropriate way to move around Socialist Street – in an inflatable boat. There are also cars driving, but it is clear that the water almost completely hides the wheels.

Lack of snow removal practices, missing or non-working drains – in the spring these components turn into a death sentence for many Russian streets and many motorists. It’s easy to stall in such conditions, and if you figure it out at speed, the engine can get water hammer.

  • And a resident of Ivanovo threw snow on someone else’s car – let’s see why.
  • “Behind the Wheel” can be seen on RuTube.
