During secret patrols, inspectors even record violations that do not or do not fall on photo and video cameras, but only in certain places. Most often, hidden patrols work on holidays, when large traffic flows are sent from large cities.

During secret patrols, the following violations are recorded:

  • dangerous driving and crossing solid lines on lanes in the same direction;
  • leave the oncoming lane;
  • violation of the rules for crossing intersections and pedestrian crossings;
  • using smartphone while driving.

Inspectors film the violation on a video camera, video recorder or on a regular smartphone that is attached to a bar on the windshield. Information about the violation is passed on to the nearest traffic police station. The offender’s car is stopped and a protocol is drawn up. If a dispute arises, the driver will receive a report of the violation.

You can recognize the hidden outfit of the traffic police by two simple signs. First, they must be in the form of police officers. Secondly, the cars have been issued for the National Traffic Inspectorate and have the correct number plates.
