And with Europe everything is faster – 2-3 weeks, and the ordered car is already in Russia.
For example, this fourth-generation Ford Focus, which was reviewed by an expert from Za Rulem, the oldest and most authoritative automotive publication in Russia, Alexander Vinogradov.
Ford Focus is a model known to Russian motorists and has been on sale with us since the very first generation. It all ended in the third generation, which was not the most successful.
The fourth generation of the Focus eliminated all the shortcomings of its predecessor. There is a spacious interior, comfortable suspension and excellent road handling, as well as a 1.5-liter turbo diesel that consumes only 7 liters of fuel per 100 km and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Such a three-year station wagon with a mileage of about 150 thousand kilometers will eventually cost 1.5 million rubles if ordered from intermediaries, and 1.3 million if you buy, drive and load the car yourself.
So far everything sounds and looks tempting, but… There are a few key points you can live with, but not everyone will agree with.
First, the “fourth” Focus has nothing to do with the third. It has a different platform, as well as an engine and gearbox unknown to Russian military personnel.
Second, all spare parts and consumables must be ordered in Europe and wait 2-3 weeks. That is, take care of the preparation for maintenance in advance.
