The Ministry of Transport of Russia has developed a bill proposing to ban taxi drivers from working more than 12 hours a day. The newspaper writes about it “News”.
The Ministry of Transport urged collectors not to allow drivers who have already worked 12 hours to take new orders. According to the agency, this initiative will reduce the risk of accidents.
The ministry also recommended that the driver take a break no later than five hours after the start of work. Otherwise, access to orders will also be temporarily blocked.
Experts appreciated the benefits of the project, but noted that it required technical improvement.
Anton Shaparin, vice president of the National Automobile Association in particular, pointed out that many taxi drivers work with several pickups and can switch to the other if one is limited.
