Tesla shareholders have filed a class action lawsuit against the company and its CEO, Elon Musk, alleging cheating about the autonomy and safety level of electric vehicles produced. In this respect informs Guard.
The lawsuit alleges that shareholders purchased Tesla securities from February 2019 to February 2023. The document describes a series of media coverage about accidents involving Tesla cars. There is also talk of a recall campaign affecting 363,000 electric vehicles due to US authorities’ investigations into the company’s autopilot technology and autopilot issues.
It was noted that these lawsuits led to a decrease in the value of Tesla shares, and as a result, the shareholders demanded compensation.
