The Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared a government decree that allows automakers to delay payment of the recycling fee, thereby replenishing working capital, informs “Prime Minister”, referring to Albert Karimov, deputy head of the ministry.

“We have prepared a proposal to postpone the payment of the recycling fee and we expect it to be supported. “This is a significant amount that will allow us to provide working capital to our automakers, just as we did last year.”

Prime states that it is recommended that the recycling fee that auto companies have to pay for the IV quarter of 2022 and the I-III quarter of 2023 be postponed to December. The recycling fee is charged to the vehicle’s manufacturer or importer for future processing of decommissioned equipment.
