By checking the Euro protocol, users can get more details about the accident, compare it with the estimated repair costs and, if necessary, request more details about the incident from the seller, including the protocol form itself.

“In recent years, the number of registered accidents under the European Protocol in Russia has not fallen below 50%. The inclusion of this document in vehicle inspection reports will increase the number of cars checked for defects and damage,” said Andrey Tumkin, head of Autoteka’s product line service.

Detailed data on the time of the accident, a new item “Technical failures at the time of the accident”: Autoteka has significantly expanded the data on accidents

If the car being monitored has had a traffic accident and it has been registered, users of the service can now access all information about the incident, including the moment of the collision, data on damage to all vehicles involved, the health status of drivers and participants in the accident, as well as data on violations that led to a traffic accident.

Autoteka reports now reflect the state of health of the driver and all passengers, added data on roadway conditions and weather conditions at the time of the incident. In addition, the report now includes the makes and models of vehicles involved in an accident, along with the vehicle being checked. Users can purchase reports on cars involved in an accident to compare the extent of damage and repair costs in the reports.

A new item “Technical failures at the time of an accident” appeared in the reports. It contains data on vehicle failures that led to the accident (if applicable).

“Including additional information in the reports, such as the nature of traffic violations, the condition of the driver, passengers, weather and road conditions, allows users to get the most complete picture of the incident and not just the technical condition of the car that matters, but also the behavior of the salesman driving the vehicle to make a decision on the deal,” Andrey Tumkin also notes. “As part of Avito, Avtoteka continues to pursue its goal of expanding the used car market money laundering and helping Russian motorists make secure and transparent transactions.”
