“Kommersant”: the number of registered vehicles in six regions of Russia decreased

In 2022, the number of registered cars decreased for the first time in many years in some regions of Russia. In this respect informs “Kommersant” with reference to the data of the state traffic inspectorate.

According to statistics, 60.45 million vehicles were registered in Russia in 2022, which is 312 thousand, or 0.5% more than in 2021. At the same time, in the last three years (from 2019 to 2021) the Russian car fleet has grown by 1.4-1.9% per year.

At the same time, five regions simultaneously showed the positive dynamics of registration with the traffic police: Primorye (+15 thousand units), Kaliningrad (+9 thousand units) and Tyumen (+5.3 thousand units) regions, Tatarstan (+2 thousand units) ). units), Kamchatka (+1 thousand units).
