State Duma Deputy Vasily Vlasov sent a letter to the head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Mikhail Chernikov, in which he proposes to create a mechanism for confiscating cars of people who ignore traffic safety rules on the roads. , reports RT.

In its appeal, he noted that the LDPR faction has repeatedly raised the issue of the seizure of cars of people who systematically violate road rules, in fact completely ignoring them.

At the same time, as stated by the parliamentarian, vehicles with high technical features and increased terrain capability are needed in order to achieve the targets set within the framework of a special military operation in Ukraine today.

The text of the appeal reads: “I ask those who systematically violate the rules of the road to consider the feasibility of confiscating cars for the purpose of their subsequent unilateral transfer to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation without payment of compensation.”

He noted that “other fines did not reach them” and that the citizens who went “do not react to it, because the country feeds them because there is income”.

In January, Volodin offered to confiscate the property of those who left Russia and openly support the rehabilitation of Nazism, extremism and discredit the Russian Armed Forces.

State Duma Deputy Chairman Anna Kuznetsova suggested to use the property of citizens who left Russia to “solve the problem of providing housing for orphans.”
