Hyundai Sonata is preparing to exit the market. The seventh generation of the model will be the last, and this is what the updated version will look like.
We only have a few blurry pictures from the Korean forums. They appear to have been taken when the car was being filmed for a commercial. These images confirm that the facelifted Sonata will get full-width front optics like the new Kona, Grandeur and Staria.
The narrow strip that runs under the bonnet edge and over both fenders is simply daytime running lights. The real headlights are hidden in the dark recesses of the bumper on either side of the hexagonal grille.
Some elements of the decor say so. What we have in front of us is a sedan in the N-Line version. That is, the regular version of the sedan will be more modest.
The second image shows the back of the Sonata. Here, too, some changes have been made – this is a wide strip of lights on the trunk lid.
If the facelifted Sonata stays with the same engine range, and probably will, the saloon will have 150 or 180 horsepower.
