Russia will expand promising foreign economic ties and build new logistics corridors, which, among other things, will significantly strengthen economic ties with Southeast Asian markets, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Especially for this, new roads are needed.
A decision has already been made to extend the highway between Moscow and Kazan to Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen, and in the future to Irkutsk and Vladivostok, with access to Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China,” the Russian president said.

Vladimir Putin also proposed to allocate another 50 billion rubles in addition to the already planned 250 billion rubles for the modernization of road infrastructure, with a special focus on small towns.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said traffic along the M-12 Vostok highway from Moscow to Kazan would open before the end of this year.
