Driving expert Alexander Vinogradov studied the crossover market at the age of about five years and chose the best deals. One of the conclusions is this: you can meet a million rubles, but if you want an all-wheel drive car, then most likely Renault Duster.
And if you need something excellent from Duster and all-wheel drive at the same time, you have to pay extra. And maybe this is right, because for 1.5 million rubles you can take an all-wheel drive version of the Hyundai Creta at the same age.
By the way, front-wheel drive Crete is also abundant on the market (unlike front-wheel drive Dusters) and costs about 100 thousand less. In addition to the lack of a second drive shaft, such machines have an elastic beam at the rear instead of a multilink.

But the price almost does not depend on the version of the gasoline engine – 1.6 or 2.0. But each of the engines is quite gluttonous, and Hyundai Creta, unfortunately, does not have diesel engines.
Of the boxes, oddly enough, the automatic turned out to be more reliable: with an oil change every 60 thousand km and a prudent attitude, it runs more than 200 thousand km.
The suspension is also hardy, but stiffer than the Duster. But the paint is rather weak – carefully inspect the body for signs of corrosion.
Here are a few more five-year-old crossovers worth checking out.
