New Daihatsu Taft hatchbacks go on sale in Russia

socialbites.ca has learned that car dealers have started selling Daihatsu Taft hatchbacks brought from Japan. Dealers in Primorsky Krai post ads for the sale of such right-hand drive cars in classified ads.

In particular, one of the car dealerships in Vladivostok offers 2022 Daihatsu Taft for 1.26 million rubles. This hatchback is equipped with a 0.7 liter (52 hp) petrol engine working in conjunction with a CVT, the drive is transmitted to the front axle. Another seller estimated the option with a 64-horsepower engine at 1.42 million rubles. Some sellers offer Taft with a range of up to 5 thousand km and all-wheel drive at a price of about 1 million rubles.

Sales of Daihatsu Taft started in summer 2020 in Japan. The ground clearance of the hatchback is 190 mm. The equipment list of the machine includes 15-inch wheels, panoramic roof, electromechanical parking brake, touch center display, digital instrument panel and rear view camera.
