Patrolling ahead of October’s 60th anniversary in Khabarovsk, state traffic inspectors drew attention to a training car. They were warned that the driver’s head was barely visible behind the wheel.
The police stopped the car and it turned out that an eight-year-old child was driving, and his 50-year-old grandfather was sitting next to him.

Previously, the man was registered as a driving instructor at one of the city’s driving schools, but was stripped of his license in January for leaving the scene of an accident.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the grandfather for the transfer of control of the vehicle to a person who apparently does not have a driving license. The sentence has not yet been determined, the materials are pending.
A preventive meeting has been held with the parents of the boy and the young driver himself, the materials have been handed over to the PDN department and a decision has been made about the punishment of the boy’s parents.
The transfer of control of a vehicle to a person who clearly has no right to drive leads to the imposition of an administrative fine of 30 thousand rubles.
