Deliveries of EVM Pro electric trucks built on the UAZ Profi chassis will begin in the second quarter of 2023. Ilya Rashkin, CEO of Electric Vehicles Manufacturing Rus, said that pre-orders for the first batch of cars are already open. transmits TASS.

According to Rashkin, electric trucks can be purchased directly from the manufacturer and at Torgmash car dealerships in Moscow. The EVM Pro is available in three versions – the finished goods van, the euro van and the isothermal van.

The facility for mass production of EVM Pro, located in Technopolis Moscow SEZ, is scheduled to open at the end of March. The production capacity will be 1 thousand cars per year. The cost of an electric truck from the first batch (250 vehicles) will be 4.5 million rubles. While the power reserve of an electric vehicle weighing 3.5 tons is up to 300 km on a single charge, the allowable payload can be up to 1 ton.

Last year reportedElectric Vehicles Manufacturing Rus has signed a private investment contract (SPIC) with the state for the production of EVM Pro. The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the volume of investments under SPIC will be 286 million rubles.
