The My Fines service has published statistics on fines for 2022. According to her, 81.5% of the 1,300 respondents received at least one fine in 2022. The remaining 18.5% do not violate or simply do not come across. In 2021, there were 14.4% fewer “clean” drivers.
The most common offense is speeding (92%). In second place comes non-compliance with the requirements of signs and markings (19.3%), in third place is illegal parking (12.5%).
Rights lost 0.2% of drivers.
According to Anton Shaparin, vice president of the National Automobile Union, there are several reasons for drivers’ increased accuracy:
- People are aware that there are more and more cameras and drive towards them.
- Sanctioned repairs are expensive and complicated.
- It is expensive to drive, both because of fines and gasoline.
- Now, according to OSAGO, no one will fix the car, they will give it money, which is most likely for repairs won’t be enough.
- “Drive” can be read in Viber.
