Bosch suspended work in Russia

Bosch, an auto parts supplier, has frozen its operations in Russia as it investigates the company’s possible use of parts in military equipment.

Auto News Europe reports that the investigation began after Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba alleged that Bosch parts are used in Russian military vehicles.

In response, Bosch said no part was supplied directly to manufacturers of Russian military equipment.

Currently, Bosch’s three Russian companies employ about 3,500 people, who produced $1.32 billion worth of goods in 2021.


The investigation began and the German Ministry of Economy. He is curious whether Bosch has violated the ban on the export of goods that can be used not only for civilian, but also for military purposes.
