For the 50th anniversary of the sports division M GmbH, BMW will launch a modern interpretation of the 3.0 CSL in a limited edition of 50 pieces. informs press service of the automaker.
Based on the production model BMW M4 CSL, the car will receive original exterior details including bumpers, front fenders, hood and roof made of carbon fiber. Also, the special edition will receive a color in the style of the original sport 3.0 CSL produced in the 1970s.
Each limited-edition car will take about two weeks to assemble. After that, the car is waiting for the final check before it is sent to the customer. Production of the special edition will begin in the spring of 2023 at the BMW plant in Germany.
