The weighted average price of a new passenger car in Russia in 2022 was 2 million 380 thousand rubles, an increase of 20%, according to Avtostat.

In 2021, the average price for a car will reach almost 2 million rubles. And in 2014 it was at the level of 1 million rubles.

Analysts calculate the weighted average price based on the average values ​​of the prices recommended by the distributor and the sales volumes for each model, taking into account changes (engine size, powertrain, transmission, body).
