Nissan has announced that it will have to recall 463,472 vehicles due to the injury-prone logos on the steering wheel. The brand badge can come off and injure the driver in the event of an airbag deploying in a crash.
The automaker is aware of four cases of injuries resulting from this cause.
Most of the recalled vehicles are 2008-2011 Nissan Frontier pickups. The list also includes Nissan Titan, Xterra, Pathfinder, Armada and Quest released in different years. The company will also recall approximately 11,000 matching spare parts from dealers.
