The import of cars with a design change in Russia may be prohibited. Such measures are provided by amendments to the technical regulation “On the safety of wheeled vehicles” (TR CU 018/2011), the presentation of which was reviewed by socialbites.ca.

Proposals for the regulation of technical regulations are included in the revised amendment package No. 3, which is currently under review by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. There is no specific deadline for the acceptance of such requirements in the document.
This measure will not affect the products of tuning companies that are part of the structure of automakers (Mercedes-AMG, BMW M, Brabus, etc.), as they have the status of manufacturers of cars and auto parts.
