Companies that manufacture cars in Russia, as well as importers or their official representatives, will be required to disclose branded service information to independent service stations (SRT). This is stated in the presentation of the final package of amendments to the technical regulations “On the safety of wheeled vehicles” (TR CU 018/2011), recognized by socialbites.ca.
According to the document, such measures are planned to be implemented during the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) or chassis type approval (OTS) issuance procedure.
In the document, “Confirmation of the fulfillment of the obligation to disclose service information for operators of the market of car maintenance and repair services when registering with the OTTS (OTSH)”, novelties of the draft amendments to technical regulations are listed in the document.
It states that the procedure for the disclosure of this information should be determined by the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The obligation of automobile manufacturers to disclose the necessary service information for maintenance and repair was brought into technical regulations for the first time.
