In 2023, it is planned to complete several major road projects in the capital: the Moscow high-speed diameter, the southern Rokada and several interchanges on the Moscow Ring Road.
Together with the previously built roads, these highways will naturally form the Fourth Transport Ring (CTK), creating a new transportation reality for millions of motorists in Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin notes in his personal blog.
After construction is completed, it will be possible to drive directly to most parts of the central part of the city, using the shortest route, bypassing the Moscow ring road, the third ring road and the central part of the city.

As the mayor of Moscow noted, taking into account deputies, congresses, interchanges, 219 km of roads and 141 artificial structures will be built as part of Moscow’s high-speed cross-section: 103 viaducts, 24 viaducts, 9 bridges and 5 tunnels. Twice as many as were ever built as part of the TTK.
The highway will improve transport links in 48 districts of Moscow with a population of about 4.5 million people. Depending on the distance and time of day, the travel time is reduced from 10 to 50 minutes, and at peak times even to 85 minutes,” Sobyanin assured Muscovites.
At the same time, motorists from Moscow and the Moscow region will be a priority for traveling on the new high-speed highway: for them, the road will be free, unlike transit transport.
