AvtoVAZ completes the transfer of production of the updated flagship model from Izhevsk to Tolyatti – on February 10, the company launched pre-series production of Lada Vesta NG at the Togliatti site, a source citing the press service of the government of the Samara region reports .
Machines produced according to pre-series technologies are not available for free sale – equipment is adjusted during assembly, all production and logistics processes are checked.
Friday, February 10 Governor [Самарской области] Dmitry Azarov and president of JSC AVTOVAZ Maxim Sokolov at the Togliatti site launched the pre-series production of Lada Vesta NG, which allows tracking the accuracy of all assembly operations. Series production is planned to start in early March and the new cars will go on sale in April,” the report said.
Initially, Vesta’s design contained a large number of parts that came under sanctions early last year. The following year, the company undertook a lot of work to replace and locate the lost components.
