The base Grand Highlander will be available with a hybrid powered by a 2.4-litre petrol engine, and a 2.5-litre hybrid will also be offered. Both options can have both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
In the maximum configuration, the crossover will receive a hybrid installation, presented for the first time on Toyota Crown. Its power is 367 horsepower, thanks to which the crossover accelerates to hundreds in 6.3 seconds and is able to tow trailers weighing up to 2268 kg.
Toyota promises 2,775 liters of interior space with the seats folded, about 396 liters more than a regular Highlander. Even with the backs of the third row seats up, the trunk will be quite roomy, as many as seven suitcases will fit in it.
The last row of seats is spacious enough for adult passengers and is equipped with USB ports, storage space for smartphones or tablets, cup holders and air ducts for the climate system.

In more expensive trim levels, the front seats are heated and ventilated. The steering wheel is also heated. The driver’s seat is adjustable in 10 directions. Front passenger seat – eight.
Toyota says it designed the Grand Highlander to be more like a living room. Therefore, the plastic in the car is soft, there are wooden inserts and armrests characteristic of sofas.
