The official legal information internet portal has published the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin allowing Avtodom JSC to acquire a 100% stake in Mercedes-Benz Bank Rus, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Bank.
No other permits, permissions or documents are required to complete the transaction.

The fact that Mercedes-Benz is leaving Russia and selling its assets to the Avtodom dealer holding company was announced last autumn. The Russian holding company promised to take over the maintenance of cars of the German brand and to find a partner to restart the plant in the Moscow region.
As it became known earlier, Avtodom plans to start assembling cars in the facilities of its own enterprises this year. It is not yet known who will act as a partner.
