A historic fence disappeared after an accident on the embankment of the Fontanka River in St. informs Rise edition.
st. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Mostotrest, local residents noted the disappearance of the railings. It turned out that a few days ago there was an accident in this place, as a result of which the car broke the fence. A gazelle and a manipulator came to the scene of the accident, evacuated the damaged car, removed the historical guardrail and took it to an unknown direction.
Mostotrest employees recognized the license plates of the cars passing through the guardrail from the cameras. At the same time, the agency said that the police did not give official information about the accident. After an accident, a rope was stretched between the granite pillars.
“The Agency requests those responsible for the accident and fence removal to independently contact any Mostotrest official and return the historic railings that are part of the Fontanka River Embankments and Bridges cultural heritage site,” the message said.
