Chairman of Gazprom’s board of directors Viktor Zubkov put forward a proposal for concessional loans to those who want to convert their cars to run on gas. According to him, 8,000 gas-powered vehicles will be produced in Russia by 2022, of which about 20,000 will be converted to natural gas.
At the same time, Zubkov believes that there are more people in Russia who want a natural gas car, but simply do not have the money to do the necessary re-equipment work.

Why don’t we help people that we sit, that we will sit outside with you? You need to invite the bank, sit down, and for this you must first collect information, conduct a survey (about interest in converting a personal car to natural gas), ”said Zubkov.
Earlier, he said that Gazprom’s gas filling stations remain unprofitable due to their low taxation, which is caused by a lack of cars that use natural gas as fuel.
