AVTOVAZ announced the start of sales of improved commercial pickups based on the Niva Legend, which are produced by its subsidiary, PSA VIS-Auto.
The maximum payload of vehicles has increased by 185 kg, while the largest payload (800 kg) is in the crew cab modification with an on-board platform without superstructure.
The suggested retail price for the basic Niva Legend commercial pickup starts from 1,153,400 rubles.
Special modifications of pick-ups for firefighters and rescuers constantly work with a load of 80-100%, which confirms the reliability and strength of the body. To increase the carrying capacity, the commercial versions of pickups based on the Lada Niva Legend also received a reinforced body, improved the design of the cab connection with the semi-frame.
Today, based on the Niva, they offer both 2-seater and 5-seater pickups, fiberglass kung cars, isothermal vans, refrigerators, technical assistance vehicles, off-road versions – more than 30 different configurations with a cargo space volume of 1 up to 3.5 cubic meters. m and a payload of 640 to 800 kilograms.
