It is proposed to replace concrete roadblocks in the shape of a hemisphere with more striking analogues. As State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov notes, these structures become especially “damaging” in winter, when it is difficult to distinguish them from snowdrifts on the road, and they cause damage to vehicles.
In a letter addressed to the head of the traffic police of the Russian Ministry of the Interior, Mikhail Chernikov, the parliamentarian notes that the placing of concrete hemispheres on the roads has become widespread. They are placed at the entrances of educational and medical institutions, often on the road network of neighboring areas.
It is not known what exactly the hemisphere deputy proposes to replace. It is clear that these must be “other, more visually striking designs”.
