Using the stove and seat heating to the maximum is not worth it even in severe frost, warns GP Lyudmila Klochko. The optimum temperature in the car is considered not to exceed 20-22 degrees.
“It is important to focus on your own feelings. If the temperature in the car rises above 25 degrees, it can slow down the driver’s reaction speed, resulting in an accident.” the doctor explained.
If there is a train that takes half an hour or more, the doctor advises you to take off your coat and hat in the car. It is also worth adjusting the heater: overheating threatens with rhinitis, dried mucous membranes and exacerbations of chronic lung diseases. In addition, you may feel dizzy and lose the ability to navigate the terrain.
It is also not recommended to open the windows when the air in the car is hot, as this is associated with hypothermia and can lead to inflammation of, for example, the facial nerve or joints.
Earlier, the doctor explained why it is necessary to turn off the seat heating.
