Two incidents related to extreme cold have been recorded this week in the Sverdlovsk region. One evening, on the Yekaterinburg-Nizhny Tagil-Serov highway, the police noticed a woman whose car was stuck in the snow. A 19-year-old girl and two children were also in the car.
It turned out that the residents of Nyagan were on their way to Yekaterinburg, missed the right turn, drove off the road and got stuck. The inspectors blocked the road, pulled the car away with cables and escorted the family to the nearest hotel.
Another incident occurred on the Serov – Severouralsk – Ivdel road. There, a family of four, vacationing from Ivdel to Serov, broke down on the way with a foreign car – the alternator belt tensioner failed. The man tried to repair the damage in the cold, but in vain. The traffic police inspectors who arrived on time took the passengers to their seats and towed the car to the gas station, where it was repaired. Everything ended well.
Keep an eye on the technical condition of the car and be careful and attentive on the road – especially when it is so cold outside.
