Petrol is getting cheaper, diesel is getting more expensive again: what will happen to fuel prices

Average selling prices for gasoline for the period from December 26 to January 9 fell by 2 kopecks and amounted to 50.83 rubles per liter. Diesel fuel has increased in price by 33 kopecks – up to 58.7 rubles per liter.

According to Rosstat, during this period the cost of gasoline AI-92 fell by 3 kopecks – to 47.18 rubles per liter. The price of the AI-95 gasoline brand also lost 1 kopeck – up to 51.34 rubles per liter.

The fall in gasoline prices was recorded in 10 subjects of the Russian Federation. Most of all, it fell in price in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – by 2%.

Previously, experts said what will happen to fuel prices in 2023.
