AVTOVAZ, to which the former Nissan plant has been transferred, announced that it is considering the possibility of producing an electric car made in St. Petersburg. It later became clear that we were talking about the e-NEVA project.
“E-NEVA” is a 4.5-meter family crossover developed by the defense concern Almaz-Antey as part of the conversion. The car was introduced in 2022. The ground clearance of the crossover is 190 mm, and the trunk volume is 610 liters.
As previously announced, the range of the e-NEVA is 463 km, the top speed is 197 km/h and the acceleration to 60 km/h takes 2.7 seconds. The expected power reserve for such a crossover is 810 km.
AVTOVAZ plans to restart the former Nissan factory in the course of this year. According to the head of the company Maxim Sokolov, it is first planned to organize the assembly of gasoline cars of classes C and D in cooperation with Chinese companies.
