The first changes will affect the interior. According to the source, the plastic panels will be solid and molded and not obtained by vacuum forming, as is currently the case. The sound insulation of the front part of the floor of the body also becomes integral. In addition, wood-filled polypropylene will be used for wheel arches, such as on Vesta and Grant, where it appeared in the era of cooperation with Renault. These changes are scheduled for spring 2023.
The second stage is the appearance of LED sidelights and lanterns, as well as an electric headlight corrector, despite the fact that the headlights themselves remain halogen. Target date is the end of 2023.
The third stage is a more powerful engine of the front-wheel drive model, lying on the subframe. Perhaps your own subframe will appear at the transfer case. All parts of the transmission remain structurally the same, but are reinforced. There is a good chance that one of the CV joints will be replaced by a more reliable (but also more vibration-causing) cardan joint. The source also reports that a four-satellite differential in the rear axle is not planned.
Many of the changes described above will be tested on the small-scale Niva Sport, which is scheduled for release in 2023.
