From January 1 to January 5, 2023, traffic police in Moscow detained 307 drivers with signs of drunkenness, reported On the telegraph channel “Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate”.
In particular, 130 drivers, who were determined to be intoxicated according to the results of the investigation, were brought to justice. Another 165 drivers with signs of intoxication refused to be examined. For this act, the same liability is provided as for drunk driving – 1.5-2 years of disenfranchisement and a fine of 30 thousand rubles.
In addition, Moscow traffic police inspectors identified 12 drivers who got behind the wheel while intoxicated and were deprived of their licenses for such a violation. They face criminal liability for repeatedly driving while intoxicated.
