Za Rulem Park, the oldest and most popular automotive publication in Russia, has quite a few cars, one of them Haval Dargo – SUV-like crossover.
Usually the expert “Behind the wheel” Nikita Gudkov drives it and notices everything.
In his report, made after driving 8000 km, he listed a number of pluses and minuses of the car.
Let’s start with the problems.
Minuses Haval Dargo
- The main drawback of the crossover turned out to be … the loading time of the multimedia system. The electronics takes 20 seconds. Of course, this is not a drawback, which is why it is worth abandoning such a charismatic car. But you need to take into account, as well as the fact that until the multimedia is turned on, the seat heating will also not work. In winter, this is relevant, so remote start, which is not available on cars delivered from China, can be called a mandatory option (on cars assembled near Tula Dargo he was).
- The windshield of a car has a complex shape. This makes the glass stronger, but saving on windshield wipers is no longer possible. To properly clean the glass, you need high-quality and therefore expensive brushes that lie well against the glass. Of course you will have to replace the wipers more often.
- Despite their large size, headlights Haval Dargo – not the smartest in class. Each of them has only four LEDs. As a result, the illumination area is small. If you think fog lights under the headlights help, you’re wrong: this is a prop. You are looking at two bulbs for daytime running lights.
Plus Haval Dargo
Repeat that Haval Dargo – a powerful 192-horsepower crossover equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine. Despite the mass of 1.7 tons, this car accelerates to 100 km/h in 9 seconds – faster than most cars in the stream.
By the way, AI-92 gasoline can be poured into the crossover tank – this is recommended by the manufacturer itself. At the same time, no reservations are made about the warranty – 3 years and 150 thousand kilometers, regardless of whether you feed the car with 95th or 92nd gasoline.
These are not all features. Haval Dargo. Read about the other nuances in the January issue of the magazine “Behind the wheel” – already on sale. The magazine is also for sale on marketplaces:
