The year is over, but the sales results for 12 months will not be announced until after the New Year holidays. But according to the 11-month results, AEB statistics have already determined the top five.
It included:
- Lada – 164,636 units. (-49%)
- Kia – 63,237 units (-67%)
- Hyundai – 53,624 units (-66%)
- Haval – 29,023 pcs. — (17%)
- UAZ – 23,153 pcs. — 66% (-20%).
As you can see, all the Top 5 brands went into the red and in 2023 the leaders are likely to change. Of course, AvtoVAZ, UAZ and Haval will be with us for a long time, but the place of the “Koreans” will most likely be taken by new “Chinese”. While the market is unpredictable, Iranian brands may be able to relax in the face of a model shortage.
Former leaders: Renault, Skoda, VW, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Peugeot still only selling the remnants, new arrivals are not expected. However, there is hope for the parallel import of cars of these brands, but with this everything is very unstable and unpredictable.
