The Toyota IMV 0 was unveiled during the company’s 60th anniversary celebrations in Thailand. The two main principles of the novelty are accessibility and modularity. The car will be sold all over the world.

“I sincerely believe that this car can improve the quality of life of many people and bring new economic opportunities,” said Akio Toyoda during the presentation.

He called the IMV 0 pickup an “innovative” vehicle “designed to support economic growth and mobility.”

The car has many unpainted parts, wide fenders, hood handles, numerous body mounts, modular roof rails and a black door outline.

The body is very long and various equipment can be installed in it. For convenience, a ladder is provided near the cabin.

The black glasses of the concept indicate that the interior has not yet been designed for it.

Judging by the front air intake and Akio Toyoda’s comments (that electrification isn’t the only path to carbon neutrality), this isn’t an electric car. The car will probably be equipped with a diesel engine. But it’s too early to talk about it.
