The well-known jewelry house Tiffany & Co. introduced a new accessory on the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays: a table clock stylized as a classic racing car.

Inspired by the racing cars of the 1950s, the jewelers crafted the watch from aluminum and painted it in their signature Tiffany Blue paint. Abrasion resistant rubber tires with polished stainless steel spokes and rims are machine mounted.

At the center of each wheel is a brilliant-cut diamond and several rows of pavé diamonds adorn the bezel and engraving plate. On the left side of the carriage, a brushed stainless steel aperture displays the hours and minutes, while the escapement and balance wheel are housed under the dome of the new artwork.

All diamonds are placed in the watch by hand.

The grille is decorated with the jewelry house’s monogram, while the bumper is decorated with a bright “5” that references the famous address of Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store. on Fifth Avenue. The time is set by turning the three-spoke steering wheel counterclockwise and the clock is wound by rolling the machine over a flat surface.
