The Russians show a sea of creativity and tenderness by naming their cars. For many of them, a car is not just a means of transport, but also an almost animated creature, a real iron friend.
Psychiatrist, psychotherapist Yevgeny Fomin believes that a person who gives technical means, on the one hand, builds a comfortable atmosphere for himself, and on the other hand, signs his own infantilism.
“Apparently, when a person gives names to a car, phone, other devices, he begins to befriend this technique and builds some kind of emotional connection with it. If everything works properly, the person believes that the car “loves” him. He is happy to know that the car he drives and likes reciprocates with him, the doctor explained.
At the same time, in a situation where a car breaks down, a person can be seriously offended by it, consider it a break in an established connection. Such hypertrophied forms of “relationships”, when an inanimate object is treated as a living object, are not entirely correct.
