The German concern BMW continues its cooperation with the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. This was reported to socialbites.ca by Ilya Baryshev, BMW’s official representative in Russia. He emphasized that the information that relations with the Russian company were broken is not reliable.
“We have not received any notification of the termination of our business with Avtotor,” Baryshev said.
In early March last year, RIA Novosti reported, referring to BMW’s press service in Russia, that the Bavarian automaker has suspended deliveries to the Russian market and domestic production of cars due to the geopolitical situation. The company promised to make further decisions “depending on the development of the situation”.
