Australia is home to many dangerous animals. They often get too close to people. For example, for Kerry Jenkins and her friend, the Pacific Highway suddenly turned from enjoyable to daunting.
The couple was on their way home from the beach when suddenly the head of a boomslang appeared above the hood. Keri panicked and asked her friend to stop so the snake could leave. But there was no place for a safe stop on the highway.
The headwind began to whip the snake back and forth, making it look even scarier, as if it were threatening the car’s occupants.
Soon the car pulled off the highway and slowed. The snake disappeared from sight, but it was not clear where. The car continued to drive.
A video filmed later shows that the snake clung to the hood all this time and after stopping it disappeared into the depths of the engine compartment. The next day, opening the hood, people found the snake again – it was on the engine.
Maybe she still lives in Kerry’s car. I must say that this is a poisonous snake from the viper family. An adult reaches a length of 50-70 cm.

And for Australian drivers, this is common.
