The gas turbine T-80BVM is one of the most dangerous tanks in the world. He is one of the few who can hit the target with the first shot without aiming – thanks to a special fire control system.

Also, this tank is very comfortable and each member of the crew has their own supply of air conditioning and heating systems.

The tank weighs 44 tons, but at the same time accelerates to 50 km / h in just 17 seconds, which is unthinkable for the world of tanks. In addition, it can drive at full speed over rough terrain at a speed of 80 km/h. And all thanks to a 1250 hp engine and one of the best suspensions in the world.

As a result, the most invulnerable tank in the world appeared, capable of destroying everything in its path, from a 125 mm smoothbore gun and a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun. The tank also carries a 12.7mm Utes anti-aircraft gun, which fires sub-caliber, cumulative and high-explosive ammunition. And the icing on the cake is the 9K119 Reflex anti-tank guided missiles with a range of up to 5 km.

To make a shot, the T-80 tank does not have to stop. It hits accurately even at speeds of up to 35 km/h, which no other tank in the world is capable of.

Such capabilities were why the T-80 was called flying.

In the mid-1990s, in one of the military engineering salons in Abu Dhabi, the T-80 jumped off a springboard and flew 14 meters above the ground.
