From January 1, 2023, the Korean company Hyundai will stop selling new cars with internal combustion engines, but so far only in Norway.

The manufacturer’s main efforts will be focused on sales of electric vehicles.

“We are very confident in our range and now that we have launched the Ioniq 6, it is time to sell only fully electric vehicles in the Norwegian market. Ioniq 5 and Kona Electric have long been among the most popular vehicles on the market and we are confident that our electric vehicles will contribute to the company’s success going forward.” said General Manager of Hyundai Motor Norway, Thomas Rosvold.
