Demand stimulus programs, including the preferential auto loan program, are a flexible mechanism that responds to changes in the auto market, the Department of Industry and Commerce noted.
They constantly monitor the situation in the market, especially the demand and availability of cars.
Perhaps the programs should be funded within a year, the ministry said.
So far, next year it is planned to allocate 5.1 billion rubles for the program of preferential car loans, 2 billion rubles for preferential leasing and 2.7 billion rubles for the program to subsidize gas engine equipment.
In 2022, 20.7 billion rubles were allocated to programs to boost demand for Russian cars.
