The legendary Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will finally receive a new generation in the summer of 2023, according to the Japanese site bestcarweb.
Earlier, the premiere was postponed due to a shortage of components, which was felt throughout the brand’s production.
The new Prado is built on the GA-F platform and keeps the frame at its core.
But the units will be made with an emphasis on environmental friendliness and efficiency, like the older model Land Cruiser 300. It is said that one of the power units will be a hybrid based on a 2.8-liter diesel engine. The fuel consumption of this modification should be only 6.7 l / 100 km.
