In 2023, the KAMAZ K4 and K5 generations will roll off the assembly line again. It is planned to produce 10,600 cars. The company announced this on its social networks.
For comparison: in 2022, 4193 cars of two generations were produced.
K4 will be assembled in the warehouse from leftover parts, but the main focus is on the new K5 model. 2022 was all about working on import substitution. As a result, K5 localization is currently 70-80%.
In addition, the K5 has been upgraded. The engine with a working volume of 12 liters was replaced with a 13-liter one, the service interval increased from 120,000 to 150,000 kilometers.
Series production of the KAMAZ K5 NEO is expected to start in March.
