How to pronounce hyundai? The English transcription rules won’t help you here. The company wants us to say “Hyundai” lately, but people keep saying “Hyundai”, “Hyundai”, “Hyundai”, “Hyundai” and so on.
But this is not essential – the main thing is that your interlocutor understands what you are talking about. But hyundaiapparently wants to sow even more confusion in the perception of himself, and is now pushing for a new pronunciation of his name (hello from voice assistants and searches).
A new series was released at the end of 2022, which caused quite a stir in the good sense of the word. Not everyone watched it, but many did. The series was named event of the year. You already understood that we are talking about the series “Wednesday” (Wednesday is translated from English as “Wednesday”). This is a series about a teenage girl from the Addams family named Wednesday – “gloomy as the night, a girl with a heavy look, a desire for death and a love for Edgar Allan Poe.”
Actress Jenna Ortega, who played the main character, became a sensation in the world of cinema. She is predicted an incredible future, photographed, loved, cosplayed by her heroine. In short, a real mess. So Jenna and Netflix suddenly have a lot of followers – the companies are actively introducing the motifs of the series in their advertisements.
The company also joined hyundai. Now she wants us to call her and her cars “Hyundai” – by analogy with “Wednesday”.
Although according to the rules of transcription hyundai (they chose this combination of letters themselves) you need to pronounce “Hyendai” (this is the company’s video above). But this does not apply to Russia, since the company is not represented in our market – call it what you want.
