After giving the disgruntled driver two blows to the head with his fist, the athlete applied a special technique – a round kick to the head area. The victim fell and hit his head on the asphalt, then died in the hospital from traumatic brain injury complicated by cerebral edema and hemorrhages.
“At the trial, the accused partially pleaded guilty, stated that he had no intention of causing grievous bodily harm to the victim, stated that he believed his actions were subject to limitation under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
